We do not provide residential or commercial lock services through this service page. Service availability depends on technician proximity and equipment compatibility with your specific vehicle. We reserve the right to decline or refer any job we determine is outside our service capabilities.
We serve Austin, TX and surrounding communities including Round Rock, Pflugerville, Cedar Park, Leander, Georgetown, Lakeway, Bee Cave, Buda, Kyle, Manor, Dripping Springs, Hutto, and other Central Texas metro cities. Response times are estimated and may vary based on traffic, technician location, and demand. Our advertised 15-minute response time is an average goal, not a guarantee.
All pricing is provided upfront before any work begins. You will receive a verbal or written quote before the technician starts work. You are not obligated to proceed once you receive the quote. By authorizing work to begin, you agree to pay the quoted price upon job completion.
We do not charge for estimates or quotes given over the phone. A service call fee may apply if the technician has traveled to your location and you choose not to proceed with the service.
We use quality automotive locksmith parts and key blanks. However, we make no warranty on manufacturer defects in OEM or aftermarket key blanks, transponder chips, or fob shells. Our workmanship is guaranteed: if a key we cut or programmed fails due to our error within 30 days of service, we will re-cut or re-program at no additional charge. Vehicle-specific programming issues caused by the vehicle's immobilizer, ECU, or security system are not covered under this guarantee.
Fast Austin TX Locksmith and its technicians carry full liability insurance. However, our total liability for any service-related claim is limited to the amount you paid for that specific service. We are not liable for:
For all car key replacement, key programming, and lockout services, you may be required to provide proof that you are the owner or authorized user of the vehicle (e.g., vehicle registration, insurance card, or driver's license). We reserve the right to refuse service if ownership cannot be reasonably verified. This policy exists to protect vehicle owners from unauthorized access.
You may cancel a service request at any time before the technician arrives at your location at no charge. If the technician has already arrived and you choose to cancel, a service call fee may apply to cover travel and time. We will inform you of any such fee before collecting it.
We collect your name, phone number, and vehicle information solely to provide the service you requested. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. By submitting a service request form or calling us, you consent to being contacted by phone or text message regarding your service inquiry. Message and data rates may apply.
Fast Austin TX Locksmith operates under Texas Department of Public Safety Locksmith License B10447201. All technicians dispatched under this license comply with Texas Occupations Code Chapter 1702, which governs the locksmith industry in Texas. We are fully bonded and carry liability insurance on every job performed.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising from services provided by Fast Austin TX Locksmith will be subject to the jurisdiction of Travis County, Texas courts.
